The basics of the Holy Spirit, Forgiveness, and Baptism, making a new creation

Ephesians 2:14-15 For He Himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one, and has destroyed barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in His flesh the law with its commands and regulations.  His purpose was to create in Himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace.

Based upon the teachings of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, striving to develop women as Disciples of Christ by enhancing their relationship with the Jesus Christ thru His Grace by faith, His Mercy, and His Favor.  Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance: against such there is no law.  Build Confidence thru the gifts of the Holy Spirit: to develop leaders.

Ephesians 2:19-21 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord.  
Develop the Gifts of the Spirit thru Boldness: Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

1 Corinthians 12:4-11 Gifts of the Spirit: There are different kinds of gifts, but it is the same Spirit Who gives them.  There are different kinds of work to be done for Him.  The Holy Spirit works in each person in one way or another for the good of all.  One person is given the gift of teaching words of wisdom. Another person is given the gift of teaching what he has learned and knows. These gifts are by the same Holy Spirit.  One person receives the gift of faith. Another person receives the gifts of healing. These gifts are given by the same Holy Spirit.  One person is given the gift of doing powerful works. Another person is given the gift of speaking God’s Word. Another person is given the gift of telling the difference between the Holy Spirit and false spirits. Another person is given the gift of speaking in special sounds. Another person is given the gift of telling what these special sounds mean.  But it is the same Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God, who does all these things. He gives to each person as He wants to give.

Pastor Jessica Schulze spoke at Foursquare’s Pacific Southwest District Conference about the authority of God to empower anyone to accomplish their mission, despite cultural values, politics or traditions. Discussing the ability of women to be healthy leaders, Jessica decried the all-too-prominent sidelining of women as a missional workforce, recently put on display at our presidential election at Connection 2019. She said there are so many young women in our movement who need to know that there is no limit to the call of God in their lives. And, despite the best intentions, there are still biases against women in our movement that must be considered and brought to light. Finally, Jessica encouraged leaders that, despite our own shortcomings, God can do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine.
